No longer was I at 35-40, instead it was 10-25. Keith and I went from struggling to practically desperate. And finding a second job, for me, isn't easy- I'm pregnant after all. The boss gave me the old "we just don't have the 35 hours to give you" line. I began to notice the boss would not look at me directly when he had any of these talks with me, which made me start to lose respect, of course. I stayed on, because I had nothing else to do. Now, with the business still apparantly being too slow to give me extra hours (at least he's not saying otherwise), he goes and hires a new girl. To add insult to injury, he gives her some of my already low hours. She gets 25 hours, I get 6.5. Grrrr.
So. I am taking it upon myself to retrain, in e-commerce. I'm building a dummy webstore to start with, selling what I have access to immediately: I will be selling my photographic prints (and eventually other related merch). Once I get the knack, I will open up other stores, selling things that may come from other distributors, etc. For now, it's only what I've got available. The goal is to learn enough about e-commerce that I can make a living off of it.
Pretty soon, I will be posting here a shortlist of the photos that will be on sale there. I encourage anyone to pick their favourites (any number of them), and give me criticism on them. I will be selling my photographic prints (and eventually other related merch) on this web store.

To find the limits of the possible, one must go beyond them, into the impossible.
